Make your own tourniquet
You can also make your own turnstile if you are in need. For example, you can use your belt. Place it slightly above the wound and wrap it around your limb twice. After this you put a half knot in the belt and take a piece of wood and place it on the knot. Now make a whole knot with the piece of wood in it.
After this you can turn the piece of wood around. This will tighten the tourniquet around your arm or leg. Keep turning until the bleeding stops, then tie the piece of wood with the rest of the strap. Always record the time of application of the tourniquet so that you know how long the tourniquet has been on the wound.
In the video below you can see how a turnstile is made with minimal materials.
Or you can just be safe and buy one!
